Announcements

Loving heavenly Father, here we are to worship you, even though we change, give in to our whims and desires, often forgetting that You have created us for the sole purpose of worshipping You and doing Your will, in communion with You. We get so easily distracted and end up doing our own thing. We end up loosing our faith, our relationship with You, and we also reason that You are not seen therefore You are absent. We regret that we end up groping around resting on our past, instead of living in the present and looking forward to the future.

Forgive us dear Father, we rightly deserve your wrath, but because of our savior Jesus we can come boldly and appeal to your mercy and unchanging faithfulness and love. Cleanse the thoughts of our minds and the sins of our hearts and set us free to worship you. Grant us the grace to let all other things go and focus on you, visit us with your Holy Spirit and renew our failing faith, so that we may become your people in thought, Word and deed, so that we may become testimonies of Your power, so that we may change and become more like Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Come Holy Father and rule our lives, accept our worship as we bring ourselves to You in the exalted name of Jesus our Lord. Amen!
