అమ్మ గురించి, అమ్మ గొప్పదనం గురించి
కవులు, సాహితీకారులు పలువిధాలుగా పోల్చారు,
కొనియాడారు కానీ
ఈ రెండు భావాలూ ఎప్పుడూ విన్నట్టు గుర్తులేదు.
లేదా, నా చిన్ని జీవితంలో నాకు ఈ రెండు భావాలు తారసపడలేదు.
కడుపు నిండా కన్నీళ్లు అంటే..?
ప్రసవ వేదనను చూశాము, విన్నాము.
బిడ్డను కడుపులో మోసినంత సేపూ తల్లికి ఎన్ని కష్టాలు!
తిండి సహించకపోవడం, వాంతులు కావడం,
నడుము లాగేయడం...
అందమైన శరీరం మారడం, అనారోగ్యం...
ఏంటో! కడుపుతో ఉన్న తల్లిని చూస్తే నాకెప్పుడూ
పాపం అనే అనిపిస్తుంది.
తెల్లని రక్తం అంటే..?
రక్తం చూస్తే అందరికీ భయమే.
పసికందు భయపడకూడదని తన రక్తం రంగుని కూడా
మార్చగల ప్రేమ అమ్మది.
తన రక్తాన్నే మార్చి మరీ ప్రాణం పోసే తల్లి పాలు తెల్లని రక్తమే కదా.
ఆ రక్తం పంచుకున్న బిడ్డలుగా
మా అమ్మకు నేను,
