Leader: Praise the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights!

People: Praise him all his angels; praise him all his host!

Leader: Praise the Lord, sun and moon; praise him all you shining stars!

People: Praise him you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

Leader: The Lord commanded and they were created. By his word they came into being.

People: He established them forever and ever. He fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed.

Leader: Let everything and everyone praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted;

People: God’s glory alone is above earth and heaven.

*Opening Prayer (in Unison) Gracious Lord, you have promised to meet those who seek Your face. Come now, as we worship you with prayer and song, be present as we read and hear you Scriptures, as we celebrate your love and ask your blessings to be upon all people. Bless us to be a blessing to our families, our communities, and the world you have given, both now, and forevermore. Amen!
