Junio Bible Quiz (JBQ)- Regional Finals 2026

We are grateful to God for His grace and guidance as our UECF children participated in the Northeast Regionals on Saturday, April 25th. Teams from across New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, New York, and Massachusetts gathered together in a wonderful spirit of learning, fellowship, and friendly competition.

Just last month, during the New Jersey District Finals, our children were crowned district champions and earned their place at the JBQ Nationals, which will be held in Springfield, Virginia from June 11th–13th. Although qualifying meant they were not required to play in the Northeast Regionals, we chose to participate so the kids could gain valuable practice, face teams outside New Jersey, and take advantage of the opportunity since the meet was hosted in our own state.

Let us take a moment to thank our Heavenly Father for His faithful hand over our children—for giving them perseverance, for surrounding them with dedicated parents and mentors, and for blessing them with a church family that continually lifts them up in prayer.

Though the team had a slow start in the early games, they showed remarkable resilience, finishing the meet strong securing 3rd place in the Northeast Regionals. We praise God for strengthening them and helping them finish well.

As our children now prepare for Nationals, where more than 80 teams from across the country will be competing, we humbly ask the church to continue praying for them. May the Lord bless them with wisdom, confidence, discipline, and grace as they work hard in the coming weeks. Let us encourage both our kids and their parents to put in that extra effort so they can do their very best on the national stage.

May God’s presence go before them in every step of this journey, and may His name be glorified through their dedication and growth. Here are our team’s rankings at the regional event
