Leader: Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ;

People: We rejoice for in God's great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope.

Leader: By faith you are shielded by God's power until the day of salvation.

People: We praise God for the inheritance which is stored up for us in heaven, where it can never perish, spoil, or fade.

Leader: Bless God's name now and always;

People: For this very day we are receiving the goal of our faith the salvation of our souls.
