Leader: The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord Jesus is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? He is the light to my path and His word is a lamp unto my feet. Join me as we come into His presence with thanksgiving and worship and praise!

People: We have heard the call to ‘enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His court with praise.’ Father, this morning we come before You with gratitude for life and all of its gifts, we sing praises for the wonder of Your Love and Grace. Draw us close to You in this sacred hour so that we may understand Your ways and learn Christ’s love more completely. Hear our prayer, accept our praise and receive our worship in Jesus name. * Prayer of Confession(Unison): Lord, we are thankful this evening for the burgeoning spring, the whispering scented breeze, the music of songbirds and the mystery of new birth. We are thankful for hearts touched by the hand of God, for those who help in response to the call of need, for fortunes invested in bettering this world, for discoveries that make for better life, for those involved in healing and easing pain, for those who explore ways to keep us well, for visionaries who see things we cannot , for those who stay the course, for those who lead inspite of the loneliness they face, for those who faithfully preach the word however unpopular it may be, for those who dare to make a stand in a changing world, for those who stake their claim in the name of Jesus, for those who speak and live your Word in the face of ridicule, for those who faithfully come to worship You. You alone are worthy, You alone deserve praise, in You alone is our salvation and life, all other things are transient and will pass away.

Help us Lord to recognize our shortcomings, renew our faith with commitment, and restore us to communion with Jesus. We submit to you authority and fall into your loving arms, uphold us and lead us lord to become true disciples, in the name of Jesus!
