Leader: Today, we await Him who comes in the Name of the Lord.

People: Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest.

Leader: He could have come riding gloriously on the wings of angels;

People: The Lord hears our cry and saves in our troubles.

Leader: Many are our afflictions and troubles.

People: But He chose to come to us on a donkey’s back.

Leader: We greet our humble King with Palms of Praise.

*Opening Prayer (in Unison) Almighty God, on this day your Son Jesus Christ entered the holy city of Jerusalem and was proclaimed King by those who spread their garments and palm branches along his way. Let those branches be for us signs of his victory. And grant that we who bear them in his name may ever hail him as our Lord, and follow him in the way that leads to eternal life. Next week, UECF Easter Sunrise Service will be held on April 16^th at 6:30AM. Rev. Dr. David Ravinder will bring the Easter message. There will be no Evening service on Easter. About Rev. Joseph V. Theophilus

Rev. Joseph V. Theophilus is currently the Senior Pastor of The New Covenant Church, NJ. On completion of Theological Teaching & Training, he was Ordained in 1983. He began as an Associate and Youth Pastor of Pentecostal Church in India. Later he served as the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Pentecostal Church in Australia & Regional Director of its ministries in the South Pacific overseeing its churches in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji & Papua New Guinea and planting outreach ministries in Indonesia & Philippines. He was also a senior editorial member of board for publishing three monthly magazines and Sunday School syllabus.
