March 30, 2007 Worship Service

Welcome & Greetings
Praise Songs/Choruses UECF Choir
*Call to Worship(Responsive Reading) Psalms 16 5-11, UMH# 748
*Opening Hymn ‘Love Divine, All Loves Excelling’ UMH# 384
* Prayer of Confession(unison): Loving Father, here we are once again to honor and worship You, we come in humility and thanksgiving for this opportunity, although we have so quickly departed from the way that is before us, we retrace our steps back to you, because You have the words of eternal life. We confess that our thoughts stray, our plans and desires are selfish, we confess that we are pre-occupied with our selves, in being so we have missed the many opportunities to draw near to You, and declare Your witness to those whom You have brought our way, Lord we have a difficult time making choices, we find it difficult to live by faith, we have consistently failed to give You the first place in our lives. Forgive us Lord for lack of commitment, lack of faith, and lack of actions to back our faith. Above all for failing to be Your witnesses. As we come please accept our sacrifice of praise, accept our worship, draw us near to Your presence, and hold us close to Your side. Renew our faith, restore our fellowship, heal our sin sick bodies and soul, and give us the joy and peace that transcends all our weaknesses, so that we may truly exalt You and glorify Your holy name through Jesus our Lord. Amen!
