Leader: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

People: We are gathered to hear God’s word and to open ourselves to his Spirit.

Leader: Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and with gratitude in your hearts.

People: We are here to help one another and to rejoice together in the goodness of the Lord.

Leader: Whatever you do, in word or deed,

People: do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God.

*Opening Prayer (in Unison) Gracious God, Your living Word gives us Light for our Path, Your Spirit provides us Strength for our Journey, and Your Love binds us together and makes us whole. We praise and we thank You this day for Your many mercies. Help us as we come before You at this time to open our hearts and minds to You, and to claim for ourselves - and for all Your people those things You have stored up for us. We ask it in the name of Jesus. Amen!
