Congregational Prayer
Here we are once again to exalt you our loving heavenly father, we are filled with gratitude for you have given us the opportunity to come boldly into your presence. You have cancelled our sins forgiven our guilt and taken away our shame, by allowing Jesus to suffer agony, bear the weight of our wickedness and die for us as a scapegoat; surely he has made a way for us to return to you even though we are unworthy you have proved your love for us in that you have provided for us. Sustained our lives, and blessed us with an abundance of Grace. We exalt you, worship you, and wait in your presence for your holy word to renew our faith, touch our sick bodies, change our mind-set, and lift our spirits. So that in freedom of mind and spirit and body we might worship you. We invite you into our midst, come Lord and take control of our hearts, open our ears that we may hear thy word, open our eyes that we may see you exalted, and open our hearts that we may let you rule our lives, give us the opportunity to serve you and become witnesses of your unfailing love. We surrender ourselves to your will in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
