Leader: Dear friends, faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

People: By faith, we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command. So that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Leader: by faith Abraham, even though he was past age – and Sarah herself was barren- was enabled to become a father because he considered Him faithful who had made the promise.

People: it is by grace we have been saved, through faith- and this is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.

Leader: so then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

* Prayer of Confession(Unison): Father, we come knowing that there is a welcome for us. There is no compulsion but freedom in Your presence. We come with grateful hearts because You have been faithful to us, You have blessed us, You have led us this far even though at times we have sought our own way, we have selfishly sought things that are temporal, we have missed many opportunities to tell others of Jesus. Forgive us according to Your Word and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

Program Details

Help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, let us experience His holy presence, especially as we commune together. Grant us the spirit of praise so that we may truly exalt the name of Jesus. For those who are going through difficulties we pray and ask for Your grace to see them through. Guide us O Lord and bring us to faithfulness. Let Your Word propel us to repentance and renewal. Give us the revelation that leads us to conviction that we may live daily in the presence of Christ. Bless each one of us and make us a blessing. Amen!
