* Prayer of Confession(Unison): O Lord, our loving Father we know how far short of Your standards we have fallen, grant us assurance of forgiveness, new beginnings and new possibilities. We know that none of us can avoid the trials and tribulations, nor the anxieties and the heartaches of life. Give us understanding as we now pray for those in situations of distress, those that are facing loss, breakdown, sickness, loneliness, confusion and lack, help each one find their bearings and lead us to discover the changes You want us to make, in order to experience Your love and the life abundant You promised. We know that what happens to us is a test of character and all our trials and tests only make us better if we respond to Your Word. Help us today to remember Your Word and resolve to live by it so that our lives are empowered and enriched and Your name rises above all our situations like a beacon of light leading us to fulfillment, in the name and spirit of Christ we pray. Amen!
