Leader: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

People: We are gathered to hear God’s word and to open ourselves to his Spirit.

Leader: Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and with gratitude in your hearts.

People: We are here to help one another and to rejoice together in the goodness of the Lord.

Leader: Whatever you do, in word or deed,

People: do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God.

*Opening Prayer (in Unison) Gracious and ever-loving God, your presence gives us strength for each day, your compassion brightens our every moment and your word provides us with the guidance we need. Lord, help us at this time to focus on the love you have revealed. Send your Spirit upon us and fill us with joy and thanksgiving that we may truly praise you this day - and in all the days to come. We ask it in Jesus' name. Amen!
