whom he appointed to be the heir of all things, through whom he also created the world.

Leader Rejoice in the Lord, Oh you righteous,

People: give thanks to his holy name; for to us has come a Savior, Christ the new born King.

*Opening Hymn ‘To God Be the Glory’ RCH#66

*Opening Prayer (in Unison) Almighty God, wonderful creator, you have made yourself

known in your Son, Jesus. In his birth you have restored the dignity of human nature. In his death and resurrection you have revealed to us the fullness of your grace and mercy. In your love, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, let us share in his divine life - even as he partook of our humanity. As we hear and reflect on Your word this day, help us to respond

with believing hearts and to put our faith into practice. We ask in his name. Amen!

About Rev. Gene Donahue

Rev. Gene Donahue was saved on April 27, 1986 at the age of 35 as a result of relatives witnessing to him. His wife Jo-Ann was saved about a year prior to this but was not attending a Bible preaching, teaching church. Because of this, she had no growth in her Christian life until they attended Heritage Baptist Church in West Orange, NJ, later to become First Baptist Church of Caldwell, NJ. He grew up as a Roman Catholic, while Jo-Ann had a Methodist upbringing.

After a period of growing in the Lord they began to be involved in church ministries. Over the years, he has been involved in Saturday soul winning/ visitation, van ministry, teaching Sunday School, Sunday School Superintendent, Junior Church, VBS, usher, nursing home/ rescue mission ministries, pulpit supply, as well as being a Deacon/ Trustee. Jo-Ann has taught Sunday School and has been involved in Junior Church as well.

He was ordained as a Pastor in July of 2003. On January 5, 2005 they were approved to be missionaries with Amazing Grace Mission of Dayton, TN. He had been helping the mission on a volunteer basis for approximately 10 years prior. Over the last few years, He also has been helping church planters in NJ. They have 4 grown children.

For further information about Amazing Grace Mission, you can access their website at www.agm-ffci.org.
