MY  Testimony � Moses Jangam

Child Hood: I was born and brought up in a Christian family. Since my childhood my parents have taught me the basic ethical and moral values and I was taught the Word of God thoroughly.  Both my parents were academicians, my mother worked as a teacher and my father worked as a lecturer in a University college. Both of my parents did their bachelors in theology from Serompore University , India , and both my grand fathers were Pastors from Lutheran church. I developed a strong desire to learn more about the Word of God and the way I have been called for ministry is a great testimony.  

Career: Though I was a very spiritual, since my child hood I have always been struggling in life with severe sickness in my body. I had a great obsession to make a lot of money and I always wanted to become very rich and prosperous. This desire has made me to pursue my Masters in Business. After completing my Masters in Business Administration, in first division, in the year 1992, I started my career by working as an Executive in Sales and Marketing.  This job has taught me to be bold, courageous and to penetrate through the impossible. Later on in the year 1994, I started my own business, PS Machines, selling industrial power generators and I was quite successful in this business. I have kind of achieved my goal by becoming rich. Staying in business did not last long as I received the call of God, while I was doing business.  

Call: One day on 14 Nov 1996, while I was in prayer I had a tremendous experience of a visitation of God.  I saw a bright light engulfing me and I began to shake under the mighty power of God and fell to the ground and in a vision I saw the evil spirits running away, from around me, and I was filled powerfully with the power of the Holy Spirit, and I began to utter the unknown tongues, It was a transformation experience in my life. I was never the same again after this experience.  During this time I totally dedicated my life to the Lord.  At this time I was imparted with all the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit, This was the time I was called for full time ministry.  Since then I had a closer walk with God. After that I have decided to give my time, energy and my talents for the Lords work. I consider my experience, was like, the one St. Paul experienced in Acts 9^th chapter.  

Ministry and Miracles: God has been using me in His service in a tremendous way. I started to preach and pray for the people and I have seen the blind eyes open, deaf speak and the cripple walk. In the ministry people were being saved, were baptized and many miracles were taking place. I have been in this kind of work since 10 years. We were holding evangelistic crusades all across India , where thousands of people would attend, be saved and healed. I was also pastoring a church in the city of Hyderabad in India .        

Challenges: Things have not always been good for me in my life, God has taken me through tough situations like �valley of shadow of death� and surely His rod and staff comforted me all the time. It was not an easy task to work in an atmosphere of animosity and with an opposition from the Muslim and Hindu fundamentalists in a country like India as I was moving as an Evangelist. There were problems from my very own, no matter what I have been going through God has been protecting and using me continually, I went through hard time with sicknesses. I also suffered a heart attack. But God has healed from all of those.  As for my family life I have no kids, I have gone through marital problems. Though I have been going through the hard times, God has always been seeing me through. Because of the difficulty I was going through, I sometimes wanted to quit ministry, but God always encouraged me to continue to do His work. One thing surprises me is that the ministry goes on, no matter what I go through, miracles happen and people are being saved. The Ministry which I have started in India is still going on even in my absence.  

In The US : I have come to the US on Dec 20^th, 2007. I am doing my Masters in Theology in Virginia Beach , which is a fulfillment of my long cherished dream.  I have also been involved in the ministry here in the US, I have been invited to several places to preach, to name a few I had the opportunity to preach in a pretty large gathering organized by  Andhra Telugu Christava Samavesham (ATCS). In Atlanta , I have also preached in an Indian church in Atlanta , I did a couple of meetings in Swedesboro , New Jersey , where I preached and prayed for people, I also did few meetings in Washington DC and Maryland . I have also been to Philadelphia and Charlottesville to visit few families and strengthen them. God gave me an opportunity to preach and minister to a group of people at a �Shelter for the homeless,� in New Port News, Virginia, where people were really in need of God. I have also done a 3 day revival meetings in Chicago .  

Miracles in the US :

I have seen the power of God working in my ministry here in the US . A 58 year old woman Mrs. Isaac Paul from Maryland was paralyzed and was bedridden for a year. Upon praying for healing she got up and started to walk instantaneously. God has miraculously healed her.

A young woman, Tracy from Charlottesville , Virginia was suffering with skin sickness for over 5 years, no medicine worked for her; I visited her family and prayed for her, the sickness left her, God healed her instantaneously.

God has used me to witness to many others in this part of the world.  Some have received salvation too. The way the Lord works and the many miracles that take place in my life and in the lives of others through my ministry is amazing.
