Rev. Richard P. Bailey is a missionary with Christar, Inc., having served in a church planting ministry in Pakistan from 1957 to 1967 and from 1973 through 1977. He was Candidate Secretary of Christar (when it was International Missions, Inc.) from 1968 to 1973. He has been serving among Pakistani and other Muslims in the metro. New York City area from 1982 to the present, with a church planting objective since 1994. He is a graduate of Wheaton College (B.A.), of Columbia International University (M.A.), and of the Missionary Language Board, Murree, Pakistan - 2� years in Urdu language study. His teaching experience includes the Lahore Bible Institute in Pakistan from 1965 to 1967, and a few part time courses since 1985 in Northeastern Bible Institute, Hawthorne Evening Bible School, and the New York School of the Bible. He has been teaching (and developing) a course on Church Planting among Muslims for the past 6 years and has taught it 8 times at Columbia International University (�99, �00 and �03), the Canadian Theological Seminary of the East (�02), and Christar�s Church Planting Institute(�01, �02, �03 and �04).
